Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial

Project Overview

V Group was honored to complete a major restoration and graphics installation project for the Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial in San Diego, California ahead of the organization’s Memorial Day ceremony.

The project involved the full replacement of the existing wall backing system, followed by the production and installation of a new large format graphic display honoring the Memorial, all branches of the United States military, and 250 years of America.

The completed installation now serves as a prominent visual centerpiece at one of the nation’s most recognized veterans memorial sites.

The Challenge

The existing wall structure required a complete refresh to prepare for a new commemorative installation tied to America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

The project required:

• Removal of the entire existing wall backing system
• Fabrication and installation of new wall panels
• Large format graphic production and installation
• Precise alignment across an extended curved wall surface
• Completion on a strict deadline ahead of the Memorial Day ceremony

Because of the Memorial’s significance and visibility, execution quality and timing were critical throughout every phase of the project.

The Solution

V Group managed the full restoration and installation process from removal through final graphic application.

The new installation features:

• A refreshed full wall backing system
• High resolution large format graphics
• Recognition of all military branches
• Branding and imagery for the Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial
• A commemorative America 250 theme integrated throughout the display

Our team coordinated fabrication, production, logistics, and installation to ensure the project was completed on schedule and ready for the Memorial Day event.

The Result

The completed installation transformed the memorial wall into a bold and impactful tribute honoring veterans, military service, and American history.

The project was successfully completed in time for the Memorial Day ceremony and now serves as a lasting visual feature for visitors to the Memorial.

For V Group, this project represented more than a signage installation. It was an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful national landmark dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of America’s veterans.
