Bringing local Sports History to Life for Sports San Diego

Sports San Diego plays an important role in bringing major sporting events to the region and supporting San Diego’s sports community. When it came time to enhance their office environment, the opportunity was to create a space that reflected both the Sports San Diego brand and the history of sports throughout the city.

V Group worked with Sports San Diego to bring that vision throughout the workspace using a combination of large format graphics, dimensional signage and custom photo displays.

The centerpiece of the project is a series of full wall wraps featuring memorable moments from San Diego sports history. The black and white imagery creates a continuous visual experience through the hallways, incorporating athletes, teams, venues and events that have helped shape the region’s sports identity.

To carry the Sports San Diego brand into other areas of the office, V Group also produced and installed custom acrylic dimensional logos, creating clean, professional focal points in meeting and reception areas.

Additional acrylic photo displays with standoff mounting showcase individual moments in full color while complementing the larger historical wall graphics.

The finished environment gives Sports San Diego a workspace that feels distinctly connected to the organization it represents and the city it serves.
